The NC State ISE Team

Edward P. Fitts Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE)

The ISE Department at NC State is one of only a few named ISE departments in the U.S. Additionally, it ranks among the top 15 programs in the country according to U.S. News and World Report. Currently, the department has a diverse research focus in:

• Advanced and Biomedical Manufacturing
• Health Systems
• Human Factors and Ergonomics
• Supply Chain and Logistics
• Systems Analytics and Optimization

Operations Research Graduate Program (OR)

The OR department works closely with other NC State campus departments, such as Civil Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science and Business Management. However, you will especially work with the Edward P. Fitts Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering.
